Default PCM

Can anyone tell me a reason not to pull a pcm out of ANY LATE 99-03 for my Early 99 and drop it in? (Sigh) had key in ign when i pulled my chip cus i was aggravated over a stall... stall was oil related used a gal of oil in like 2 miles, i think i have a lifted injector cus of oil in my fuel bowl... anyhow i found a place in NY thatll sell me a pcm 185 shipped OR lifetime warranty with "being tuned for my truck" which i think im callin bull on but one of yall may know just alittle bit more than me on the pcms so if you do input is appreciated

oh tuned is an extra 85*

i never really heard of a "tuned" PCM. but try and get more info on it. might be kinda like a tuner in a way. but if you put the chip in it might over ride the "tune". don't forget to get the chipped reburned for that PCM code as well
