I have just started modifing my 2000 7.3 powerstroke. I have installed a 4" exhaust and a ts 6 position chip. I am wanting in the future to upgrade my injectors to stage 2 injectors. Since I will be changing to larger injectors I figured i will need to upgrade to an aftermarket HPOP and a larger fuel/lift pump. I was thinking about the FASS adjustable fuel pump most likely the 200GPH. What kind of performance increase would I recieve from this fuel pump and could I use it with my setup now and would I notice and increase there too. I would like to buy the pump before the injectors to have it already setup. Can I run this fuel pump with only a chip and exhaust? Any imput would help thanks.

 

No increase in performance. The stock pump is fine with stage 2's...

 

stock pump..... I have never heard of anybody with any luck with those aftermarket pumps...

 

Ok thanks for the advice. So for stage II 160cc injectors I can run my stock fuel pump, what about the hpop? Will I need an aftermarket pump such as the terminator T500 or other aftermarket equivilant?

 

It's not necessary. Stage 2's don't require it.
