my truck has been doing this for a while. i start it up let run for a few minutes pull out of drive way the truck runs like a brand new truck drive appox 1 mile and stop a stop sign take off the truck will not hardly run runs so bad it wont shift for about half mile then it smooths out but still not running right???? has anybody came across this same problem? thanks fro your time

 

How many miles? Any codes? Any mods?

 

224000 miles no mods and no engine lights so codes i cant be sure is there a way to check them with out a scanner

 

You need a scanner to check for codes, even without a SES light there could be codes stored.

Could be loose bad UVC harness and such. Check all the top of motor connections, make sure they are not loose and or burnt.
