Default chips and upgrade?

I have an 03 f-250 with 4" straight pipe and afe cold air automatic. I also have an edge programmer I am looking to ditch the tunes and get a chip. Not sure which would be the best. Im looking for other upgrades. Is there anything I can do at this point without getting injectors or a turbo?

Not really much else to do...

Chip next... I would get TS style chip with any tuners files... COuld be Swamps, Beans, DI, TW, PHP...DOesn't really matter, call every one of them and then make a decision. I suggest with going with someone who gives free reburns so when you do later upgrades, you can just send the chip back in and get new tunes.

One note for DP is you pay by the tune... and you pay for reburns... and you can't go to another tuner with their chip if you decide you don't like it unless you get the f8 or whatever it is...

Ok thanks for the info. My buddy was telling me they had turbo rebuild kits that are suppose to make your turbo better than stock and he also said that injector nozzles might help a little but he wasn't 100% sure with my truck. Is any of this true or really worth the money?

i have a dp tuner in one truck, ts in another, and edge in another.(all 7.3s) can't say any really run a hell of a lot better (towing mind you, i could care less how FAST my trucks are), fuel milage they all seem pretty close and thats what i'm after. actually, my dp tuner did get a little better milage than the ts but pretty close.

You can rebuild the turbo, they are fairly straight forward on these trucks and there are videos online to help you out. Call Guzzle at Dieselorings.com and he'd be more than happy to hook you up with everything to get the turbo out, rebuilt, and back in. Get his fuel bowl rebuild kit while your in there to tighten things right up.

Now to make the turbo "better" than stock, on the stock center, all you can really do is ensure you have a stock wheel, not a wicked wheel, install a ported compressor shroud to eliminate surge, and change the exhaust side housing for a 1.0 or 1.15 with the big exhaust flange. That will make things spin easier. The real way is to replace the turbo, easy bolt in upgrade is a 38r turbo at ~1400.

Don't know if anyone sells just the nozzles anymore, but its far better to just buck up and hit it with a nice set of stage 2 injectors (stage 1's are a nice little boost, but soon your wishing you bought bigger, just buy bigger upfront)
