I drive 02 International 2 ton with T444E engine that intermittently gives code 29: Fuel Command Low, due to possible shorted or broken wire. It does this at times while driving and also at idle, then reverts to normal (closed loop) after a while. When in open loop it idles like an old John Deere tractor. Any ideas on where to check for problems? My mechanic has tried swapping out the gas pedal assembly but that had no effect. Any help I can give him would be good because he's very busy and won't spend much time on troubleshooting.
