Water In Fuel & Service Engine Soon Light
I have an 2001 F-250 7.3L Powerstroke Turbo Deisel V8. She has 205,815 miles on her and has been running just fine until I put some offroad deisel in her. At first my "Water in Fuel" light kept coming on every 20min or so, Id drain the fuel bowl and prime 5 or 6 times and everything was fine. After draining the offroad deisel out to almost empty and putting in the right kind, now I have "Service Engine Soon" light on and a very rough idle. Also, it sounds like my motor is knocking! I put Deisel kleen, and Seafoam in the fuel tank but to no avail in making her better. I noticed my fuel is milky/yellow... Is that normal? I have no money to send her to a shop so I improvised and poured deisel kleen in the fuel bowl, that killed it... Now she turns over but wont start! I drained the bowl again and primed but now she just cranks and shakes. After all that I decided to drain my fuel tank again and now theres froth coming up and after that went away, (assuming I reached the bottom of my tank) something is smoking?!? PLEASE HELP ME!!!
