Default any insight on digital gauges?

I will be getting gauges within a month or two and I was wondering if getting digital gauges would be better than analog? My only problem is that I'm temporarily in a wheel chair and I like to do the work myself and I don't know how I feel about drilling into things for the analog gauges. How accurate are these digital gauges? Also it was my understanding that for the digital gauges you just plug into the odb sensor, is this correct? Thanks for the help.

Digital gauges use the OBD port for most of there info. You will need an add on EGT probe and kit. I do not like digital or anything that uses the OBD port for your information. If the PCM goes dead you have no info. If the brain of your gauges goes dead you loose everything. If the screen goes bad, you loose everything.

Isspro for all your gauge needs.

Pro's and con's of both analog are nor acurate on the fly digital is a few seconds behind I like the digital because you get more info can adjust for tire size to get more accurate mph

What are you trying to say?

It has been proven that an analog gauge is both quicker and easier to read, this is why most aircraft still have an analog gauge (be it projected or real). You can read them at a glance and your brain does not have to convert the number to a perceived red line and such...

I don't see how an analog gauge is less accurate then a digital?

Funny, I dont think Ebay pays to sponsor here, nor do they participate in any of the discussions.

Never seen ebay offer to help you out if there is an issue...
