I have been told I have a sticking injector in my 02 power stroke, after sitting over night truck will start up but runns rough. After it builds up heat in engine miss will clear up. Also if you plug truck up over night it will start up and run great with no miss. I have replaced all glow plugs and they work.I was told that rev-x oil additive or hot shot oil additive will help these issues does anyone have anything to say about these additives?

 

couldn't tell ya on the additive but i would get them rebuilt. before they completely go.

 

I always used Lucas if my ferd. Never heard of guy using rev-x in 7.3 mostly 6.0 you can try won't hurt nothing but like geoff said you'd be better to replace one.

DO NOT USE LUCAS OIL ADDITIVE. it will cause the oil to faom and it will destroy the oil side of the injector.

with a diesel u realy need to stay far from Lucas products ive herd so much problems with diesels and Lucas products best not to mess with the stuff
