Default massive oil leak

truck is a 2000 ford f-250 7.3l 4x4 auto that turned over 200,000 miles yesterday. i started it today went to the post office and noticed a trail of oil following the truck. looked under the truck it was pouring oil. ran home fast and looked and the oil is coming from the top of the engine. ive noticed it has been a little wet around the turbo the last 50,000 miles or so. now its poring out. any ideas?

If its pouring out more then likely its a HPO line or seal.

start the truck and pop the hood. Follow the oil.

ok i found the leak and it coming from he bottom of the hpop. ive started removing my hpop. so far ive got my fuel bowl out. oil lines disconected. ebps apart. and my drive gear cover off. now its time to take the drive gear bolt out. is it true i can throw the truck out of time if the crank shaft turns. i dont wanna screw any thing up. whats the best way to go about this?

You can not throw the truck out of time. The only way you can do that is remove the cam. Your not removing the cam...

Continue on my friend.

More then likely its the "non-serviceable" plug that has blown out. If it is see here...

Riffraff Diesel: Serviceable Long Threaded HPOP plug

for the replacement.
