Hahaha!! Why a halfton tho?? And I'm gonna have to do this. Lie no ****. Whe I'm out of basic. I'm getting a dodge and it's undergoing a major power plant renovation!

IDK the 1/2 ton would be cheaper and easier to source and I feel a spring swap would be enough to hold the engine.

i'm not sure the whole front end would hold it. i'd say a 3/4 or 1 ton. but it can be done.

yes it can be done, yes it is worth the trouble, its pretty straight forward though, go to main page here and scroll down the engine conversions, there is a couple good threads of people doing this just got do some lookin. go to www.cummins-ford.com or www.destroked.com they sell motor mounts and all the tranny adapter and information you will need, its a proven fact you get better fuel econmy as well, you probably wont get much support posting this here since this is the ford section of the forum, but i went from cummins to powerstroke and wished i never did thats why im putting 6bt in my 97 crewcab, good luck on whatever you decide, pm me if you got questions been reaserching for months
