Default does a 97 ford f350 powerstroke have lift pump

okay i just want to now if my 97 ford f350 powerstroke have a lift pump. and if i add more horse power if i need to put in a aftermarket fuel system

they have a mechanical transferpump that sits in the valley of the motor. and no u wouldn't need to put a different fuel system if you add more power to it. the only thing is depending with injectors is an upgraded hpop

Yes if you go with bigger injectors you will need an electric fuel system. Low fuel pressure will kill injectors so why take a chance?

Depends on how much power adding we are talking about... I have 160cc injectors and still utilize the factory fuel system...

Easy there... Not exactly 100% correct. The fuel system will need upgrading at a certain point as well as the HPOP... The factory fuel system pressures bounce around like crazy and at WOT, you could be running fairly low fuel pressure especially with upgraded injectors, bad deal... If you are just adding a chip or some 160cc stock nozzle injectors, I wouldn't worry too much but go much bigger and fuel system is something that needs to be looked at as well as the HPOP, as well as the turbo...

ok that you i was thinking about adding a 180cc injectors but what kind of electric fuel system should i add
