check your intake valley for fuel leaking. i had lift pump leaking, the sensor in the back of the fuel filter housing, and the dang fuel/water shutoff all leaking at one time!!! had a heck of a mess, ran down the back of the intake and down the block on the starter and tranny pan. hope this helps!

There's also a threaded plug in the back of the heads. It's 1/2" or 3/8" drive and if it's passenger side you'll have to take the downpipe loose from the turbo to access it. Mine leaked like crazy because the o ring on the plug had deteriorated. It's a dealer item only and it's about $10.00, maybe less. It may not be, but it sounds a lot like the problem I was having. Good luck with it!
