Default cab lights

hey everyone im thinking about getting smoked cab lights and i was wanting to get some advice on where to get them but i dont want the led lights.

do you already have cab lights? you can get this tinting spray. it's kinda like translucent black spray paint.

i got mine from recon but there led's. i didnt install them myself i was told there a pain to install. my cousin did it and it took him 5 hours. .

well you can go to a junk yard. find the harness from a OBS, then the harness and lights from a SD. then order the smoked lenses from recon. you're pickup is probably wired for them. the plug is behind the passenger kick pannel. then splice the ends from the SD harness. but they plugs might be the same. not entirely sure. i added 4 lights on my 96 to the 5. and it took me and my buddy about 4 hours. they are a pain.

i helped my buddy put some in and they went bad but the scariest part is getting the measurements rights and drilling the holes but if i just buy the lights could just hook them directly into the parking lights?

i know recon sells a kit for trucks that don't already have them. but they're LED...

i got my lights from a truck shop. they are exactly the same as the stock SD lights but they are made by truck lite.
