Your motor is fine to 500 HP its the transmission that blows up. I am not sure which transmission you have but get a bts if its auto or a southbend clutch for the 5 'r. Then upgrade the motor.

Search around and do all of your maintenance to the truck before modifying.

You can do anything you want. It's all in the tuning and they way you drive.

Also involves having deep pockets and including supporting mods into your power plant. Not just power mods...

First you need to figure out what these "100 horse" injectors are.

Search around the 7.3 forum for some injector info. Id link it but Im on my phone. Don't know anything about 100hp injectors... Supporting mod will include fuel system, turbo, hpop, intercooler... What are your goals for the truck and approximate budget?

Exhaust intake gauges chip. Then drive it. Forget about the rest because it becomes nothing but a money pit after that...

Stay away from (xx horsepower) injectors. You will have no way of knowing what you are getting and therefore, you won't be able to tune for them (and they won't tell you). You and your tuner will want to know the capacity and nozzle size. Capacity is measured in CC's and nozzle size wil be % over stock. See a reputable injector site like Rosewood. His site will explain what you want to know.
