ill start my 97 f350 ill let it warm up. i have a 3'' down pipe and 5'' tail pipe ts chip on 50/75/100/140 hp settings at 2000rpms it falls on its face. little over 2500 it will get back and go. when its been running for away its fine. its has 257000 miles on it. i got the truck dont know what has been done be for me. it was a highway truck, towed from day one. need gauges. dont know if the guy ever did injectors. i knoe the guy ran amsoil it the trans and axles. any help is great.

If you still have stock fuel system then of course it will fall on its face up until 2500 when that poor mechanical pump is giving its all. I would also change fuel filter.
I change mine with every service and this sounds to me more like a fuel problem then hpop.
