whats the difference in the programming between the 94.5-95 and the 96+ trucks?

i think the HP rating? 215 vs. 225 at the flywheel.

 

everything. why can you put things like a watch dog and an edge CS/CTS on 96+ trucks but it wont work on 94-95.

 

Hopefully PHP comes along to help out, Cody would be better to answer this, but I don't see where you wouldn't be able to run either of those products on a 94-95 truck based on PCM issues... If either of those products use the OBDII port to transfer their readings, then that is the hold up...

 

The 94.5 have all kinds of PCM issues, 99.9% of the time I can not connect to a 94.5 truck. Not sure on the 95's but thats what I can add.
