i can't say i knew that before. that's pretty sweet. except my moms 97. that thing re defines slow. LOL

Here's how she sits now. I'm loving the ARE top, it has the side toolboxes, which is really handy! I did find out while camping out in the back that the top leaks pretty bad, so I just got done re-sealing all the joints...

I had to repair the pass door lock mechanism, a plastic part broke, and a linkage was flopping around in the door...

Still loving it though! Thanks for the help so far!

I agree, definatley the booster, I had the same problem with my rig. Bungee cords are a nice fix but if youve got the cash, fix it, it will save you alot of time and money in the long run.

Not much in the way of internet info to support it, as back then the internet was still an infant.

Diesels also weren't as popular as now, so they didn't do many magazine articles on their performance.

I witnessed it many times, but don't have video evidence to prove it, but "back in the day" they were a fast truck, for the time.....
