Default injectors

how do i tell what code injectors are in my truck?? were at on the injector would it tell you? thanks

on the top of the solenoid it should say. what year is your pickup?

its a 97 shopuld have 130cc split shots i believe but im replacing the motor with a 96 and just wanted to make sure i was swapping injectors for no reason

Yep, it says the code right on top of the injector solenoid... Should have a long code starting with either AA or AB...

a 97 can either have AAs or ABs. AAs are 90cc single shots and ABs are 120cc split shots.

97 has ad amd the 96 has AOs?

No... AD's came in late 99+ Superduty's...

AO's are the same as AA's and are usually found in the earlier OBS trucks...

AOs came in the very early powerstrokes. mine was built 10/03/94 and it had AOs when i opened it up. the AAs came im most OBS pickups. ABs came in the 96? and 97 OBS cali modles and the early 99. the ADs are 99+

Im positive they have are ADs possibly aftermarket? Its dam quick and smokes alot

AB's did come in the Cali models 96 and 97 and the early 99...

Also, My 95 had AO's.
