Default T fitting in map line

I was driving home today on the Interstate traveling about 65-70 and I pegged it and my boost only went to 15psi...

I got home and popped the hood, Looks like the rubber portion where the boost line goes into and the rubber piece wraps around the barbed T fitting isn't sitting right on the T fitting... If that wasn't sitting on the fitting right, would it measure less boost? I know I make more than that... Is there a different T fitting other than the Autometer plastic one? Or should i just figure a way to seat this rubber piece much more solid?

hum... ya, that autometer crap sucks...

I have enough parts to build about 20 of them right here in my truck...

A Brass T, two 1/4" barbed fittings and a 1/8" compression fitting. Two hose clamps and enjoy never melting, blowing or otherwise having issues with your boost gauge (if your not running a better Isspro electric gauge...)....

It's amazing how helpful you are... LOL

So, because it wasn't seated right on the middle portion of the T, It was only reading 15psi when it should have been reading 30ish??

I'll have to pick up some parts down at O'Rielly's tomorrow...

It scared me a bit when all I could get was 15psi when I know it was capable of 30ish...
