Hmm... thats a generous offer...

So here's my predicament; do I drop the change on a TC and VB and take you up on that offer... or do I just say screw the stage 1's for now, and stick with just an intake/exhaust/tuner and leave the trans stock?

Whats your budget? Whats your goal?

Answering those questions will answer your question.

My goal is to just add a bit more oomph and mileage over stock. Not looking for a race truck at ALL; the truck is lifted and on 33's, so it will namely be my hunting/fishing/mudding/recovery vehicle.

My budget is as cheap as possible; I had a crises before Christmas and am still recovering.. but I'm getting the truck at a STEAL which is why I'm picking it up. If push comes to shove, I can always resell it and get my money back.. but I'd like to try holding onto it if I can and keep it around for a while.

Perfect. Then start with an intake, exhaust, gauges, and chip. Drive it and be happy. If later you decide you want/need more... That's when it starts getting costly.

Will I be able to keep up with a 12v w/ plate/exhaust/intake/afc tuning?

I guess it doesn't matter... just curious.

This isn't very encouraging.... I'm under the impression that if I dont get the sticks the stock trans will be able to hold up...
