powersmoke- Does 'big power' consist of stage 1's, tuner, intake and exhaust? . Cuz thats all I'll ever be doing to this truck power-wise.
stage 1's? thats it? i'm debating stage 1's or 2's on project ccelb but project 8594 is definitely stage 2's minimum

Is 8594 the puller? If so, Your going to want some bigger injectors than that if you want to try to be competitive in the 2.6 class.

85 - 1's and a chip will be in the low 300's. A valve body will help you. But you need to understand putting a valve body in there doesn't mean that the tranny is cured of all its problems...

stage 2's would be less that i'd go with for pulling hard but ya 8594 is the puller. i haven't even decided on what to go with for pullin yet. its a lot to take in.

what are these transmissions supposed to take stock? i use a clutch so i wouldnt know

Yep just stage 1's. In order to go to stage II's i'm gonna need WAY more work than I want to put into the truck. I'm just happy to be getting another stroker, so I'm gonna just do the basics and just drive it and be happy. I've still got my Volkswagen for when I want a fast, 5spd diesel

Is that 300's to the wheels? And what... deep 600's to the wheels for tq? I realize that a VB wont fix the trans. It's not like I'm gonna beat on the truck... but I dunno. I guess I'm really gonna have to think about this one

Yes sir, to the wheels.

I say go for it... Drive it like you OWN it and you should be alright.

Sweeeet.

So when you say drive it like I own it, that doesn't mean that I can harp on it once in a while, or tug somebody outta the mud, or carry a load does it?

undercoat the hell out of that truck too man. you know our winters. if your gonna drive it easy then you could probably get away with it but if once in a while your gonna run it a bit i'd go all the way

No. It means respect the truck. I wind mine up and something is still holding it together (knock on wood)
