how about a 4" downpipe?

Wait... Where are you putting the pyro? And the wicked wheel and your stock wheel are basically the same thing...

the pyro should be as close to the inlet of the turbo as possible, as going through the turbo, your exhaust can lose up to 500*

It should be in the drivers side exhaust manifold...

too late, I already drilled the hole, but I did do it on the driver's side inlet port... and am smart enough to not let the bushing protrude inside the smooth walls of the casting, so the only turbulence will be from the tiny little probe itself.

havn't driven it yet, but she will push 10 lbs of boost sitting in neutral in the driveway...

I don't know where My new setup is supposed to build high EGT's, but I tried with everything I had, 100+mph up hill and flat on the floor, and she wouldn't even break 950. I suppose maybe some heavy pulling... Running down the road at 75 she settin' on a nice cool 550 or so. I lack a baseline for what it did before, because I just finally got the pyro in place, so any input on what a more or less stock turbo and stock exhaust would look like would be handy. or even stock everything but maybe some 4" exhaust.

Just to avoid any confusion... she got a mbrp exhaust 3" downpipe with a 4" back, then on the turbo, we went with some fresh bearings and seals, a wicked wheel compressor wheel, a .84 ar exhaust housing, and EBPV delete. hardly seems to be working at all to get down the road
