I have a 96 7.3 with 320,000 never given any real problems has the whole banks package great truck. started truck in the morning like normal used around house started multipal times threw day. when idleing in drive came back outside was stalled out. tryed cranking but turns over and if u crank long enough it kinda fires once every few turns makes a sound like a spark knock. tach moves when turns over oil press on dash 45-55 fuel press at bowl changed cps right off bat and tryed icp and idm out of my other diesel. batterys are charged up removed chip scan was clean cept p0475 epc witch should not make it not start. got two other codes but when i unplugged harness p1277 and p1275 cyc 7 high to low and cyc 5 high to low. at first when u turned it long enough it would smoke but not start up. harness and idm have been changed in past. found the harness to the ipr was burned up made my own for now but no change. also scanner cant clear codes for some reason. noticed that cyc 5 and 7 are on same harness gonna take cover off. oh one more thing when i unhooked pass side both harness plugs and cranked it would still fire like before remove both drivers side and replace pass side would not fire at all.
