Question School me on a '95 Power Stroke

I've been thinking about selling my 1/2T 2nd Gen Dodge. There is a possibility of trading a guy straight up for a '95 Power Stroke. I don't know anything else about the truck yet to know if it going to be worth it.

What I wanted to know is any info about this year truck...Good things, Bad things, Things to look for, What to avoid....I'm a pretty hardcore Dodge guy, so I know nothing about these Fords....

I have a 95' F350... If you can hold out for a early 99 or above youd be better off... OBS (old body style) have smaller injectors, turbos, smaller down pipes, no intercooler and harder to chip... Dont get me wrong because I love my 95 and it has tons of power...(now) The older 7.3l have stronger rods and the head bolts are good! Depends on how much power you want! I have Stage 1 injectors and 6 pos chip from Beans Diesel, Banks IC pipes, 6.0 intercooler, Snow Water injection, 3" down pipe and straight 4" exhaust by diamond eye, K&N intake and filter, ccv mod, injector resistor, triple gauges. I havent dyno'd yet but proly 330 to 350hp at the tires... That equals a 10k lb dually leave the light with smoking tires... Proly run high 14's quarter mile... pulls a 30ft fifth wheel with a 14' car trailer with 5 quads, generator and 3 wheeler with no problems! I get 15mpg in town and 18 on the hiway... hope it helps some...

That does help some. I wouldn't be holding out for something later, the only reason I was considering it was because it was offered. I probably wouldn't keep it for more than a year before I sold it.

I'm still waiting on the guy to get back to me with more details and some pics of the truck. I have no idea if its 2 or 4 wheel drive, long bed, short bed or what. But if its in decent shape, I might pull the trigger.

Before I wrecked the 95 in my sig about two weeks ago, it was my favorite truck of all my diesels. They're not speed demons, but they run pretty good. It just depends what you want out of a truck I guess, but I liked that truck over the rest.
