Default Transmission problems

Driving around yesterday, truck was running fine. Stopped at a red light. Turned green, gave it some throttle, truck didnt want to move. Gave it a little more throttle and the truck began to creep along. So im like, uh oh. I threw it in reverse and backed up into a parking lot. Reverse worked just fine. I shut off the truck and let it sit for a while and then put it in drive again and it was working fine. Later on in the night, the same thing happend. Can anyone help me out? Truck is in sig. Thanks everyone

Thats what i was thinking. When she actually gets moving, then its fine and will shift decently as long as im easy on the throttle.
