how can you if your turbo is going out

 

usually when they go out they seize up and whatever your running will smoke like a freight train and and large amount of powerloss but if you want to check it you can remove your hose between the air filter and the turbo to check and seeif it free spins by turning it with your hand and see if it will spin freely and you can check and see how much up and down movement and side to side if it has a lot its due. kind of the redneck way to do it unless you have the proper tooling and specs on your turbo it will work
