I recall best mileage per two full tanks being 15 mpg pre gear vendors, and 17 mpg after. both were mixed driving conditions, mostly highway. Was it worth it? No. Even though I got the unit for free, the fuel savings would've taken years. Was it fun and cool? Absolutely.

depends on what you're doing with the truck. If you pull heavy and work the truck its great. My truck was just a hobby and I did a bunch of **** to it just to say I did. I bought another new truck june 2011 and sold the 96 about 6 mos later... I had 3 trucks and the 96 was my favorite, but I only took the cover off and brought it out the circus tent to drive to work once in a while to keep the yellow tops up I do miss her.
