Default need some help please

Ok this is driving me nuts. I have a 96 f250 powerstroke. The thing runs great. However sometimes when driving down the road it hickups or even dies. Today it died on me and wouldnt start for 5 min. My buddy said the key switch is goin haywire, but i dont know. Could it be fuel filters? They were changed last year. Doesnt throw any codes. My biggest worry is my girlfriend drives it to work a couple days a week and i really dont want it to leave her stranded. TIA for any help.

Cam Position Sensor...

go to ford and pick up a new one... They might even cover it under the recall...

Could be, but the fact that it took so long one time or several times... Without scanning it, the best guess would be a CPS.

if not under recall, a new one is less then 30 bucks from Napa, still would scan the pcm to see if it has any stored codes cause it might and not throw a CEL
