this morning it was prob 45 degrees let it warm up,i drove my truck to work, ran great just cut the muffler off last night, but when i went to shut it off after cooling down i noticed the battery light symbol in the dash was flickering. not in a sequential pattern. the gauge says everthing okay but i was just wondering for the sake of my truck. any help is always appreciated

Alternator is probably about to take a dump.

 

this happened on my truck. either the alternator or the voltage regulator. the regulator is almost as much as a whole new alternator so i would just say replace the whole thing.
