97 7.3 cold start problem.
250,000 miles. In the morning if it is around 36 or below and i do not plug the truck in, i can drive less than a mile and the truck starts to lose power, white smoke, knock, rattle and will eventually die. Can crank on it and it will start and barely run. Doesn't have enough power to pull out of its tracks. After motor builds a little temperature it will smooth out and run like a top. If it is below 36 and i plug it in it runs like a top. Been doing this for 3 years. Broke a pushrod last year in the middle of one of its fits. Need help. Thanks
Iceman, I dont guess anyone is going to help you out on this. You might think about getting a DMAX...at least theres alot to read about on the problems you'll have...LOL
