Default front axel major issue

well we just finished up the solid axel conversion in my buddies 250 tonight, took it out for a test drive. everything was goin great til we took a left hand turn. this thing has more death wobble than my dodge! he had to jack the brakes n come to a complete stop before it would settle down. what do we gotta do to get rid of this? would the trac bar get rid of it?

Does it have leaf springs or coil I guess just a little more info on the install from the sounds of it it is coil springs and if so then yes it def needs a trac bar for sure.

it could be combination of several worn out parts but if lifted and coil front u may have to adjust ur caster on axle . find a friend who works at a alighnment shop. Ran in to same problem lifting buddies 96 dodge. hope that helps out

here is a picture to give you some kind of idea of how one is set up this is on a lifted truck (not sure if yours is or not) but this is how they can be set up. One end goes from the axle to the drag link there might be a place on the axle where you can bolt one already and then they either go though a hole in the drag link or use a u bolt kit to bolt it to the drag link. See if the pic helps just one of the ways they can be set up.

the truck is a 96 5 speed rc lb, 235/85/16 mud tires, its got an extra spring in the front, no other lift, as of right now the front driveshaft is out, it has 3.somethins in the rear, n now 4.10's up front. i thought the steering stabalizer was just a band-aid to cover up the problem and its not needed??? (though im probably wrong)

You need the track bar in there for one. Second I would check the end links and make sure there not worn...

And get the gears changed before driving in 4x4...
