Well yeah. There not just going to disconnect your cruise control and be like, "okee dokee your good to go!"
Labor and new parts...no charge, why wouldnt you want to go in for that?

Made my appointment for 1p.m. wednesday, so i will update you guys wednesday night on what they actually do cause im going to watch what they do cause im curious,

Got the notice, along with the 44th notice to have my CPS replaced.

Got the recall done today.... evrything seems to still work the same and they didnt tear anything up... get er done

What did they actually replace? How long did it take? Im pretty sure im getting it done tomorrow. Thanks for the update brother.

Had mine done last week while I waited, all they do is install a jumper wire with 2 inline fuses.

got it done today. Dropped it off when they were closed (5:30 am) picked it up when they were closed (6:30 pm). Damn i hate working all day. sun sets before im off

they put a harness between that sensor and the vehicle harness, it has a fuse in it. the fuse will blow before the sensor will catch fire. i had the recall done on my Expedition w/no ill effects

How come this recall went out so late? 12 years later for my truck.
Or has it just been sent out slowly?
