Default 7.3 Jerky throttle

Hey everyone.

So... Its not hard to notice a large jerk even when I very slowy engage the throttle in my truck. The intensity of the jerk varries in different gears. It almost seems bad. Sometimes I notice faint "knocks" also. All U-joints have been replaced. Any input ?
Thanks guys.

well the e4od trans is the plroblem child for ford sounds like your not geting enough line pressure the when u hit the gas or switch gears it has to fight to get into gear a shift kit or after market trans controle module eould help to raise line pressure and depending on how wore the trans is could solve ur jurk and also might need a new torque convertor i would do a stall test on it and it should read around 1800 rpm be for the turbo kicks in to raise it

It is most likely your throttle position sensor. TPS If it is flaky it will cause the trans to jump gears. Bucking like a wild bronco.

Thanks for the replies guys. Bucking like a wild bronco hits the nail on the head with a hammer. Great example. Any info on the TPS?
