Default pyro sensor location

I have to replace my up pipe donuts and will be removing my turbo to do so. I have decided to take advice from CSIPSD and move my pyro sensor from the downpipe to an uppipe at the same time. An easy location to put it is just below the exhaust side of the turbo. There is a spot there to easily weld a 1/4 inch pipe coupler into the uppipe. That is how my sensor is mounted now (into a 1/4 inch coupling in the downpipe). Does anyone see any problem(s) with my plans? Thanks for any advice.

Just found a great article on how to easily drill and tap into the manifold. Will probably go this route for more accurate readings. Still open to suggestions. Thanks.

Drill and tap into the exhaust manifold. It's pretty easy to do and very accurate. Put grease on the drill bit and tap to minimize metal shavings in the manifold. I also used a magnet to get as many shavings as I could. Good luck.
