it's a 93/94 f150 300-6
but thought maybe the eletrical might be the same as a diesel?


gauges stopped working
battery/volt
gas
air bag chime started going off (i unplugged it)
4x4 light doesn't work


these all stopped working at the same time so i assume they are related.


i'm not a ford guy my self nor like working on eletrical.
but the truck is our only work truck on the island i work on. the islanders want it working properly. if it where me i say run it till it's dead.

any help would be great!

 

Sounds like a good chance it's a fuse. Take a quick drive by Autozone or a local parts store and see if they have the Chilton or Haynes manuals available. Crack on open and look for any fuses that involve the dash or gauge cluster. Check those first and see if maybe you just blew a fuse. Have you done anything electrical with the truck lately?

 

nope, i have only put all new brake lines on it...
thats the problem the fuse keeps blowing.

i work for the care taker of the island.
i don't mind doing a little free research. but he can buy them manual. one of the islanders already told him to and he hasn't done it.

i would buy it. but my luck the douche wouldn't reimburse me.
