7.3 Ford diesel with wet exhaust ports on drivers side only. Confirmed that it's fuel. New injectors, seals, washers, and cups as the rebuild was less than 200 miles ago. 55 psi fuel pressure. New ICP, IPR, high pressure oil pump, and high pressure oil lines. New valve cover gaskets/wiring. Swapped IDI and ECU. No changes.
Compression tested 420 PSI across all 8 cylinders. I did increase the head gasket thickness to .075 from the factory .060 as the machine shop took to much material off of the deck of the block. The truck starts immediately, so I don't think there is an issue with having too much head gasket height.
Injectors for 2,4,6, and 8 tested at a local facility to see if one or multiple were hanging up. No issues testing.
Coolant system pressurized to 12 psi for 15 min. No drop in pressure. Ran fairly well, but there was a white exhaust haze.
Swapping front cover this weekend as the high pressure oil pump reservoir did have a crack with a steady leak. Used the wrong gasket
