Default Is this normal?

Hey, I'm looking at buying a 94 f250 with a powerstroke motor, 4x4, reg cab, but for some reason it doesn't have the powerstroke badging below the f250 XLT badge? Is that very common? Or do you think they might have done a swap?

Not sure yet, should be looking at it this weekend. However I'm pretty sure it's an automatic.

The late 94's had the old badge that said turbo diesel on them. They didn't put powerstroke till 95. the tranny I'm not sure about but yeah look at when it was built.

Turns out y'all, the engine was replaced with an older IDI and had a new trans dropped in also.. So isn't a powerstroke. But I still am probably going to pick it up because he's only asking 1000.

The idi was a good engine, reliable and good mileage but they don't have a lot of power and you can't get much out of them for long

What do you mean, "for long"?

The idi wasn't meant to have a ton of power. They will run forever stock but when you start adding a lot of power they have the potential to not last very long
