Default 1996 powerstroke upgrade questions

I have a 1996 f350 7.3 with 5 inch straight pipe, intake, ts chip, and gauges. I am soon going to buy the d66 quick spool turbo from beans and I also want to get rosewood stage 1.5 injectors and I was wondering what other supporting mods I will need in what order.

Fuel system will help but I guess you could get by without it. And you will need tranny upgrades and your chip retuned

What about hpop? And what do you suggest with the tranny? I don't want to spend all my money on that? And what would be affected with out new fuel system?

Hpop should be able to keep up but a T500 would get more out of the injectors.

Do you have an auto or manual?

Depending on how strong your pump is you could run it low on fuel under heavy load and that will damage the injectors

It is an automatic

I also heard that you can put a 99.5 through 2003 hpop in it and it will be fine because those hpops are meant to handle thi split shot injectors which require more oil pressure.

A good TC and shift kit will save you for a while from having to buy a tranny, but I prefer to do things once and not waste extra money.

You can can but a 17° pump on it and it will help but for a little more you can get a better pump

Ok what about a rebuild kit ford the trans? I'm not on a big budget but I wanna do it right. I've seen rebuild kits, but Ive seem a variety of prices and don't know what to do.

I would go with a suncoast rebuild. Not sure what they cost though

I've seen them for around 500. Have you looked at them at all? Is the any heavy duty sun coast rebuild kits you recommend?

I found this
Sun Coast Diesel Transmissions*-*Ford E4OD Xtreme Duty Master Rebuild Kit | Catalog Products | Sun Coast Diesel Transmissions
But that just rebuilds it what about input, output shafts, torque converters, Etc...

You should be fine with that kit and a good TC, a custom valve body wouldn't hurt either
