Default 95 psd exhaust

Just need a little help with figuring out what I need exactly to put a single stack on my truck. Its a f350 single cab. previous owners cut the cat, and muffler off so its pretty loud. not a bad thing, but the boys in blue don't like it too much. anyways, I measured where they cut everything off and its 3.5 in. im not sure where to start...but I just want a single stack....any help would be greatly appreciated!

All you need is a straight pipe & some flex pipe & an up pipe & jus cut a hole in the bed. Pretty easy to do.

Do you have any suggestions on where to find this stuff online? I don't have any shops in town that have that big of exhaust. I looked online at some stack plumbing kits but boy are they expensive!

Nothing withing 45 min drive (Ford dealership) and they aren't my first choice when dealing with parts or questions! The local auto store doesn't have anything that big in diameter. I looked on summit and they have some stuff pretty cheap thank God

Ford would have what you need. You will have to find a big truck shop or order online

I bought several sections of 4" pipe for my '93 from Summit. I did some cutting and welding to make the angles I needed and it came out pretty good. It's good quality pipe, my old truck has been sitting in my yard for several years and that pipe is still in good shape.

Just went on to Summit's web site. Sections of straight 3.5" x 4' aluminized pipe are $19. They have stainless pipe that would make a pretty nice stack but they only have the stainless 3.5" in 10-ft sections. You could get a 4" x 4' section of stainless pipe for $82. A single 4" stack would look a lot better than 3.5", IMO.

They have free shipping over $99. They also have angle pieces and splices to join the pipe sections together. You could probably build the whole thing for less than $200.

If you want to get the boys in blue to cut you some slack and quiet it down a little, there are lots of generic stainless mufflers on eBay. Most of them are 4" and up, though.

I googled "tractor trailer" parts and got a couple hits in LaPorte, IN.... they shouldn't all be 45 min away. In my area, I have about 3 different parts places.... it would be nice to price compare too... because although Ford can get all you need (as most won't be in stock), you will be paying top dollar.... Get a print out of what you will need to give you a reference. Good luck guy!

I drove to the nearest shop today and got a print out of what I need for the exhaust. The dealership had me looking right around 400 for everything so I just took the paper home. I'm getting on summit now to order some stuff. Will get back with morelater. Thanks again
