get rid of the banks ****, trash the K&N, buy a 6637 from napa then get a custom tuned TS chip from gearhead.

Get rid of that k&n now! They do not filter air as good as a paper filter and will cause your engine and turbo to wear faster. Like said before, get a TS switch and start working on bigger exhaust. Two biggest "bang for the buck" mods you can do.

Yep the K&N is the biggest waste of money on the market. I bought a $25 Spectre air filter from Oriellys and took my air filter box out. Hooked the Spectre to the intake line about 6" from the turbo. As far as tuners or chips, theres a difference in them all. Ive had almost every kind on my 96. DO NOT BUY A BULLY DOG they are tuned for crap and TS Performance makes most tuners and chips for all companies anyway. Im a true believer in the TS 6 Position. Hands down best chip for the money and you will CERTAINLY see and feel the difference. Even if you just straight pipe your exhaust without anything fancy, make sure you invest the money into a new down pipe that is not flattened.
