so i have a 1997 7.3 with 159k miles its lifted on 40's with a really mild tune. basically a tow haul for firmer shifts and better economy a 4" exhaust and a high flow filter bone stock E40D that has had zero problems. however to protect the "weak link" e40d i plan on doing a external filter a bigger trans cooler and i think the BTS valve body. im shooting for a smooth running reliable truck that i can take to 500k miles. i plan on running a set of baby swamp injectors and the TS 6 POS Chip later for a little for power and better economy i have read alot of people talking about custom tunes for there BTS valve body.

will swamps have to burn my chip for the valve body?
or would taking it to a local shop be a better bet?


i'm in Virginia beach and have heard to stay away from the diesel shops around here.
