Default 96 obs power!!!!

ok shortly i will be trading my 04 duramax for my friends 96 powerstroke has 180k on it 9in lift has a 75hp chip propane injection straight pipe exhaust and cold air intake first i plan on taking the 3in body lift off or going to a 6in suspension ...its just too tall for me and i would like better mpg then 16 then i will be going with a dp 16 postion chip so first question can i run their higher tunes before i get the injectors and turbo or will i have to keep it turned down?? also i plan on making 450hp wat size injectors should i go with wat brand and wat size turbo and wat brand???

first i would dump the propane and not get a DP.

you can run any setting you want. its only going to be able to make so much power but it wont hurt anything.

for 450hp i would probably get some 238/100s. they are capable of more then 450 but you can detune them to 450. as for the turbo i would go with something like an S366 or maybe the S468 and irate mount kit. but dont forget you will need tranny mods, fuel system, and hpop upgrades and gauges before you do anything.

238/100 detuned to 200-205cc and keep your hpop. puts you right at 450 with supporting mods and save yourself a bunch of money. You can do the hpop later if you want and retune for the full 238cc.

A $500 hpop is not a lot in the big picture and you get full use of almost any injector he wanted

Since that was addressed to me...
Why spend $500 he doesn't need to to get his 450 horse?
There is no downside. He can add it at any time with only a free reburn to worry about if he later decides 450 isn't enough.

bajahigh, is $500 a lot to you? Could you spend it on something else?

He can do whatever he wants... no skin off my nose!

you are going to be VERY hard pressed to make even 400 on a stock 15* pump. they need more oil. 500 is not alot in this HP game. yes i could spend 500 on other things but i would not try to make 400+ without one.

According to "injector size as related to horsepower" and other sources, 200-205 cc injectors with bigger nozzles = up to 450 H.P.

The whole purpose of a 200-205 cc HYBRID is that it is customized to match with a 15* pump.

At least this is what I have been brought to believe. I certainly could be wrong though.
