I have a 1997 ford f250 7.3L with and E4OD trans. I replaced thetrans about two months ago and havent had any problems out of it til about a week ago. Every so often "when cold" the trans will shift fine until it reaches overdrive, then it feels like i have no power and the tach stays about 2000rpm at 50-55mph. no matter how much throttle i give it it wont go above 2000rpms and the truck will slow down. If i release the throttle and let it down shift then accelerate again it will shift into overdrive. Any clue on what it might be? It doesnt happen everytime i drive it, only about three times this week. This is really bothering me as the trans is new and it has only started this week. any help would be great

 

Hi , had the same thing with mine changed the map sensor and the baro sensor and all good
