Default Newish owner of a 7.3 any ideas or concerns

I bought my 7.3 finally after bout searching for 6 years and i was wondering what i can do or need to look out for with my truck. I bought it with only 82k miles now its just under 100k and ive already done exhaust with downpipe, cold air (k&n), and a TS performance 6 position chip. I know i need to replace the injectors, switch valve covers, head studs, and i want to put a wicked wheel in my turbo plus convert to a ZF-5 speed...any ideas are appriciated.

Congrats on the OBS! W/ such low milage there isnt a concern to replace the sticks unless of course speed is the answer and that would follow w/ the studs, which only need replacing if you intend to shoot for 500hp+. The turbo wheel wont make a difference but you should inspect it for wear on the fins. Bends and chips, not good and with the KN filter that probably will be seen..Deep six it cause they leak and lets tons of dirt in. Not sure why you would need to replace the VC's but you could upgrade the HPOP which you would need to do w/ stage 2's.

Go to NAPA and get a filter, i think the number is 4366, but cant remember for sure, somone please chime in if im wrong. but its easy to install and does a great job. have a pic of mine in my gallary if you want to see. just need to take out filter box and get a chunk of 4 inch tube with a 45 degree bend in it to hook it up. Cheap filter and works great.

your filter: Riffraff Diesel: RDP 6637 Filter Kit (Out of Stock) Clay at riffraff diesel is the man: nice toys and he wont steer ya wrong.

Your stock hpop wont be able to supply the necessay pressure for the new and improved sitcks you want to install...you will need higher and more consistent high pressure oil feeding the high performance injector sticks you're looking to install. Most guys go for the T500 ( terminator) or the Adrenaline brand. The wild bunch go for dual HPOP's. now your cooking....
