In the morning before you start the truck, check the level of the hpop reservoir... should be within 1/2" of the top...

HPOP pressure wont be shown on guage cluster in truck, it pushes super high pressure to the injectors to allow them to open and push fuel through them at high pressure so you get a good spray pattern in the cylinder before ignition.

Pull the HPOP resevoir plug, on right hand side in front of fuel canister, check level, should be close to top, within 1/2 inch.

Havent checked hpop yet but i noticed that though the truck started almost immediately at work, it put out some really dense white smoke for a few seconds.

I pulled the HPOP plug and the reservoir was full. I've also discovered that I only have an issue starting it when I don't plug it in overnight.

the engine bogging down and the exhaust sounding different is probably the ebpv kicking on

My what?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

nevermind... Figured it out after i actually got time to look it up.

Any ideas to make the truck start when not plugged in overnight. Also my mileage is still terrible, what can cause this. Have replaced both air and fuel filters. and changed out the cps. little to no improvement.

change the glow plug relay. they can get weak long before they quit. the fuel mileage dropped because of the bigger injectors
