Tanks are roughly that.
When my needle is centered on the "E" line, I have two gallons left (both trucks)... doesn't mean yours is the same.

i thought both tanks were 18gallons but close enough. when my truck is at 1/4 tank, i used 12 gallons. run it when it just hits the e, still have a few gallons but i woudnt run it that low. sucks alot of dirt and junk from the bottom of the tank. had a driver cost me alot of money because he was an moron and kept running it out of fuel.

I intentionally run both tanks dry just before changing the fuel filter.

my gauge is screwy also. i can fill up the guage maxs out, but drive it 25 miles and its below full, drive it 150, and it shows 1/4 tank. ive made myself drive it to 260 and filled again. i can hear my dadys voice "you dont ever wanna run a diesel out of fuel". is there a fix to this?
