help! 97 f250 4x4 not working and axle prob?

Id take the screws out pull the hub out clean everything up and replace the seals and everything then try it.

the hubs were locked when i tried it ....ill take them off and clean them thanks

also a buddy of mine just told me the chain in the transfer might be jumping teeth...does that seem possible

Possible I'm not familiar with the trans and zf6 trans ford guys will chime in I had a 99 and sold it fer a cummins. Lol

Transfer case chains can stretch and slip. If that is the case, though, you might want to consider finding another one, or having that one completely rebuilt.
