Coming home and my fuel filter light comes on and truck quits. Change filter and limp it home. At home I drained a little water from the fuel. Start it up seems to be running fine so I take off down the road, about a 100 yards from the house it dies and hasn't started since. I'm leaning towards the fuel pump but I am no mechanic. Any suggestions?

Check all your fuses... Does your WTS light come on?

I suppose then it could be your fuel pump.. Be nice if you could get it running long enough to check the fuel pressure..

On a 96 is the pump in the tank or on the frame?

Sits right in the valley behind/under the fuel filter bowl...
