Same volume as a stage 1, just has ability to empty faster... It would be a toss up for me... Here's the thought process...

Why do stage 1's when you can do 30% nozzles... Why do 30% nozzles when you can do stage 2s... Why do stage 2s when you can do hybrids...

Just pick the one that you want and can afford and run it...

im trying to decide between stage 1 or 1.5 i dont want to have to go get a new hpop and fuel system. and with stage 1 premiums which i was told ill more than likely need is the same price of stage 1.5 i still cant decide.

does anybody know what an average price for installation would be? i wont have a whole lot of time and ive never done it before

A shop will probably charge you 4-6 hours at whatever the shop rate is... They are really easy to do. Plenty of writeups on the site here for the process... Look in the stickys in the 7.3 section...
