do you really think it is better than the last engine. Powerjoke fluff and no stuff. Ford can't build a truck engine.

Yeah and they have never been able to build one. YOu can't drop the pan on it without pulling the engine. If it eats a turbo Ford's protocall is to just replace the turbo. What about the metal in the engine. The rear ends are too small! Transmissions are new. I've been offered the xpan to buy one to replace my 08 f350...no way!! They are pretty and they are pretty awful. All fluff no stuff!!! The don't care about their customers either.

oh..geez..i did not realize you already bought it. I hope it works out for you, but remember if you have trouble with it ford absolutely will not do a buy back if it passes 20 k miles. I am living a nightmare with my 2008 F350 King Ranch. I paid cash for this truck. Yes it is pretty and it is crap. I am looking for people to join me in a class action suit.

Good luck again. Beware of radiator and camshaft failure on the 6.7. I understand they had trouble in Florida with one of the cylinders too. Cummins is built to last 500,000 miles Powerjoke maybe 100,000. Good luck.

You see that is the beauty of choice. I bought the ford and love it. Could i still end up with problems? Of course. If i bought a gm or dodge could i have found one that would have problems? Sure. I've seen guys with the other trucks with big issues too. By that reasoning, i think i should just buy a horse and buggy because nobody can make a 100% trouble free vehicle. Wait a minute, the horse might throw a shoe (another known problem) better just walk.

3400 miles and I have had it exactly 2 months today. My computer says I am averaging right at 14.7 (since new). I think I have about 1/3 towing miles of some sort and 1/3 town and 1/3 highway (anywhere from 55-82 mph). I just went on little trip that was about 110 miles one way with just miterbox and a variety of other tools in the box and I averaged 20 mpg even and was going mostly 65 mph. 2 days before that, I pulled a 8000 lb skid steer on a gooseneck 75-80 mph 160 miles round trip and got 10.5.
I still don't give a $hit what haters say, I love my ford. I felt the same way with the dodge I traded in.
